Indore's Prestige Institute of Management and Research students at their college fest – Manthan 2013

FUN-filled fest: It was celebration time for the students of Prestige Institute of Management and Research at their college fest – Manthan 2013 held recently. The three-day long event saw participation of students from various colleges in the city. “We had to do everything, from the arrangements to sponsorship and cultural events. We had started off with rehearsals around two months back and we’re really glad to see the response we have got,” remarked Sourabh Singh, an MBA student.

CULTURAL meet: Apart from the quizzes and presentations, the cultural programmes at the do witnessed an enthusiastic participation from the students. Harsh Gupta, a student, said, “We had many fun events like the t-shirt and face painting competition, dance competition and musical contest that doubled the fun of the evening.” The face-painting competition had students getting their face painted on various themes. The performance by the college’s in-house musical band Humming Birds also received a great response for the rock version of old melodies like Ajeeb Dastaan and Aye Zindagi. “We look forward to Manthan throughout the year. Apart from the fun, we also get to learn a lot of things by managing the whole event on our own,” said Priyanka, a student.
